![]() | So far my street fights have involved one to one where I have had to defend my honour. I now wish to focus on fighting 2 to 3 people at the same time. I have begun hand and shin conditioning to make my strikes more powerful however I need to know what I need to do to beable to fight two people at once. |

Have them be smaller, weaker, and suck at fighting. Have you be bigger, stronger, and better. Up the maturity and you probably won't have to fight many people, much less a couple of them at a time.

![]() | Start by training your Periferic eyesight so you can keep track of your opponents. Later you will learn to fight many foes. One other tip: If you throw an opponent, throw him at the other foes to stop their attack, you will buy time with this. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Unless its in a ring, there is no honor. You've watched too many fantasy films, get off it because you're going to get yourself beaten badly. If you're outnumbered and there's no escape, then fight until you can create one and then apply all of those windsprint drills and GTFO. Face the facts about fighting multiple opponents. 1. You are going to get hit, scraped and possibly cut. 2. See number 1. Makes you think about your training, doesn't it? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | People see Samo Hung, Zhou Yun Fa, and Jet Li and believe this 1 vs. 10 thing can work. The reason why they believe it is because they train under some master who claims techniques are too deadly to practice and have never gone full contact. Spar against 3 guys at once in your next class non-stop for 5 minutes. It can be done, but once you finish you will collapse in a pool of your own sweat/vomit and be a little tired. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think a 3 on 1 sparring session is a good training tool. once you get the clinch on one, you can maneuver and do damage to the rest but it takes a monstrous amount of energy and doesn't allways work perfectly. If you try to muscle the clinch with too much upper body you'll gas out faster than if you use good core/lower body mechanics. |

![]() | although i would have to agree with those who have said, 'get the f*** outta there', there may be times when you must fight a few opponents to get out of a bad situation. a couple of suggestions (besides learning ba gua/pa kua, which is extremely helpful): 1. if you can, take out the strongest person first, with a vengence. it will make the others second guess what they are doing there. if you see your stronger buddy get laid out, it may take the wind out of your sails. 2. line them up. dont get stuck in the middle, you will get screwed. maybe grab one of the smaller opponents and use them as a shield, or throw them into one of the other opponents. imo, unless you can take a few big hits and keep going, it is best to find the first escape and start running.

All around good advice. BulletproofMonk, are you listening? Fighting for your honor against 3 guys is stupid. | |
