In March last year, a week after her birthday, my mother died suddenly and tragically of a massive stroke. I was the one who had to call the ambulance and hear my mum tell me how frightened she was to die as she was trollied out of the house.

It was not used as "ammunition", it was meant to point out exactly how thoughtless it is to pass insults at people's loved ones; something that I would never dream of doing, let alone to someone I do not know. I have often said Red Rum is a fat prick, which he obviously is by his own admission. I have, however, never made comment or allusion to his family.

I would thank you from showing common decency and desist from making any further reference to my family.

I think insulting someone just because of their weight is also pretty low. You have no idea as to whether I have illnesses that have caused weight increase etc, or whether I am dying from heart disease etc.
I was unaware of any illness your mother had, but as Thai Bri says - to use that as a shield is pretty low. I also doubt whether its true, now that I know what kind of person you are
