Default Explain the diff Tai Chi Styles

Hello,

I am new to Tai Chi but not the MA.

Could you please help to understand the diifrences in many types of Tai chi styles?

Also have you ever heard of - Hwa-Yu T'ai-Chi?

well i know yang style is a bit more "pretty" then chen style but i chen was the original and used for combat..but that's all i know about other styles. wish i could help more

When taught "properly" there is very little difference between the styles, they should all have the same components. However it's more likely you will not see them taught properly, but with an over-emphasis in a particular area (usually vague form training).

I've not heard of the style you mention.
