Don't you use any training to lengthen you nose hairs so that finger can't come in your nose you know. Thai Bri, I doubt it warms up the nose while you do that, I think it cools it so that you can form up the white mist into an ice (you know so that chi fingers can't come in). and the chi can not be physically proven to a non believer but i have seen someone stand on hotcoals... (from 1 of the early post) and for all the crap about chi it does exist if you believe in it
it is the force in your body that cannot be explained... like when you know something before it happens it cannot be explained but it happens... or when you fall down and can get back up thats your chi becuz a weak minded person cannot get back up they will sit there in a depressed state also i want to add that CHI is the name it has been given just like GOD and all the other names of things like UFO's you know what it means but when people say UFO they think alian!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but it actually means you dont know what the object flying is so people's judgements are always tainted no matter if you realize it or not becuz ever since you were born your body has been developing and has chosen what and what not to believe and people most of the time don't accept the fact soemthing is there without being there physically so they dissagree with it saying it does not exist

Chi is a concept that refers to alot of things, none of which are supernatural. Sports science is tapping into Chinese medicine and is able to explain alot of findings. Some Chinese medicines, allthough strange, do their job - but I don't know about ALL Chinese medicine.

Accupuncture works. Accupressure works. Certain teas and herbs have more clinical studies backing their claims (and disproving other more ridiculous ones) but I don't know about the approval status under the FDA...

Its time to drop the mysticism about Chi and find out what is really happening.

(the turkey can't be too dry, slighly moist, marinated in a light beef gravy overnight with salt and pepper)

Please include a side order of waffle fries and a small, frosty glass of root beer.

Allow the sandwhich to hold together perfectly and float in the air, so I don't have to lift my hands; fries too. I think I can handle the root beer.

Okay, considering I started this thread, and then forgot about it, I'd just like to state one thing about chi being mystical; remember, there are a lot of scientific forces out there, like the strong and weak nuclear forces, the electrical force, gravity, etc....we have no idea what they are, yet they exist. The electrical forces are what hold you and I and this whole world together; and the electrical force flows through our bodies. It is also what keeps us from being pulled to the center of the earth (cuz technically the particles making up our bodies are so far apart, that if gravity was stronger than the electrical force, we'd slip right through the ground).

So my point here is, I think that chi can be very scientifically explained, but still "seem" "mystical." No one knows if the electrical force flowing through the body can somehow be manipulated by the human brain; remember, we don't know how the brain works either. So don't make comments saying chi is all mystical and we need to use "REAL" science to figure it out; real science can't figure out how acupuncture works exactly. But I mean the idea of chi existing as a force of the body that can be manipulated I think could easily be real science, because we DO have an electrical force flowing through our bodies.

I find it funny how people insistently refuse to believe that something like chi (a force flowing through the human body) could exist, YET we all except the scientific views of light, electricity, etc....and acknoweldge they exist, yet we also acknowledge that we have no clue about them. I'm not saying chi exists in terms of thsoe "masters" who can send people flying across a room. But I mean the existence of chi I'd say is a tremendous possibility; I would not say chi is a concept. This same "science" people use to try and call chi a mere concept is, like I said above, the same science that acknowledges that we have no idea as to what the electrical forces are, or even what gravity is. But those forces exist; heck, we even trust quantum mechanics, and we have NO CLUE as to how that exists or works! But it has never been wrong. There has never been a prediction made by quantum mechanics that has been wrong. So if we believe in these forces, why not the possibility that these forces may somehow be tied in with the body and controllable by the brain perhaps?? Who knows?
