Default Chinese cops and Qigong

Hey, I know a lot of people here don't believe in Qigong, but what about all the cops in China who do hardcore breaking and Qigong exercises?? The Chinese police and Chinese military are some tough-ass guys and they practice martial arts (kicking, punching, breaking, etc...) daily, but they do some hardcore breaking and they train in like the Iron arts (Iron Fist, Iron Chest, etc...), just wondering what people thought in general of all that.

I am not trying to make a point really, jsut wondering. It sparked my curiousity, so I figured I'd make a thread on it.

Wow, I didn't know Chinese military train in Iron stuff. I know sino military train in martial arts, mainland-wushu and taiwan-wing chun. I've only been in contact with Taiwanese military people, but I didn't know the iron arts were still utilized in China.
Over all in all, China's military people are generally well conditioned, but I question sometimes if they do hardcore stuff like thus described. I know Army Spec Ops train hardcore MA, but I dunno if regular soldiers even train hand to hand as extensively.

I've seen Taiwanese special forces practice Wing Chun, looked a little different from what is usually shown in the west .

I read you lived in Bohol, do you know about good Wing Chun associations in the Philippines? The one I saw in Manila wasn't really impressive...

Thanks.

I know a hong kong detective who is a top VT practitioner under WSL. He retired recently and now teaches full time. He didn't use qigong but precision VT technique.

It depends, I think. Perhaps a regional thing. You know, Shandong men, Hakka women.

Ever see an all woman construction company in the US...lol.

Actually, I lived in Bacolod, I just visited Bohol. But I didn't see any good Wing Chun associations in the Philippines, sorry, I don't think I travelled around enough to see Wing Chun precipitate throughout the islands. There was one association that practiced kung fu, and my dad was impressed with them. The only thing is that they only accepted those with almost pure Chinese bloodline and it was based near Manila. I forgot, maybe it was in Pasay or one of those places. They were pretty good, but this was years ago, so don't count on this being accurate now. But, in any case, I'm sorry I don't know anything else.
