Default Ive been challenged!

Some kid at school who is chinese challenged me today to fight him. He is a practicer of Wushu Kung-fu. I think he is from China, he had a jacket that said Beiijing Wushu Institute or something like that. His kicks, and punches looked flashy and fast. Do you think I could take him? Do you think his Wushi Shit is gonna beat my ass?

yea, id have to agree with them.

first off, do you do any martial arts? one of my rules of thumb is to never mess with a chinese kid who is wearing a "wushu kung fu" jacket. man, if you dont take any martial arts, there is no way you can win.

second, you dont go looking for fights man. if you turn him down, you have already won. unless you did somthine really bad, hes a fag for "challenging" you to a fight. hes just looking to make you look bad. just walk away, and leave it at that. the only people who go looking for fights are insecure about themselves (which isnt to say he couldnt beat you). if he does beat you (which he probably will do) you just give him an ego boost. if you didnt do anything, and hes the agressor, than by turning him down, you are already better than him.

let me know what you decide, and what happens

LOL Yes, I think you could take him! Go for it!

"The best preparation for an event is the event itself." BL.

What's he gonna do? Knock you out? Hurt your pride? Sheeesh, it's only going to hurt for a few days or a few weeks, what the heck! I say you can take him! LOL , but don't quote me on that!

Honestly, you should go back to scaredy school and learn some real gung-fu. I think your new buddy from China is just the guy to help you! Go fight him!

LOL this kid annoys the shit out of me. He parades around lunch kicking and crap at imaginary people. Today I saw him do it, and I laughed pretty hard. He was all like you wanna match me? You see I thought Wu-shu is more of a technique/performance type of sport. How can his fancy moves beat me? I do have MA experience about 4 1/2 years of true TKD but in reality ever since I was 4 I took lessons never took it serious till about 8 or 9. I also was on the wrestling team. I consider my self more of a improv. fighter LOL. I just see what im up against and lay out which moves to do. I don't know what im doing but I always immediatley attack the oppenent right when he throws a punch or kick. Basically I just punch him before he gets me, not in all cases though. I just dunno if this kid uses Wu-Shu Gung Fu to beat people. I mean come on wouldn't something like that only work if I was doing some type of Eagle Claw, or White Crane stuff? I think if I used Wing Chun against I could defeat him. I just dunno if this fancy cocky flashy crap can be used to kick my ass with. I though that was in the movies, or unless I was a Chinese Shaolin master.

WuShu means martial arts.

Modern competetive Wu Shu is a gymnastic demonstartion. Not martial arts.

However - he may well be a member of one of the San da, San shou institutes in Beijing - who often call what they do Wu Shu.

If he is - prepare your ass for a beating!
