i did take a little Shaolin Kung Fu. i would like to take it again, but the guy who was teaching it stopped and there are no other Shaolin Kung Fu schools. i am going to start taking japanese Kenpo. i would like to use Drunken Boxing as my primary Martial Art.
Edit: i have Drunken Master. it is one of my favorite movies.

i would just like to try it. no big reason.
the martial art i would like to learn the most is Drunken Boxing. it seems i need to teach myself. my sister can help me with sparing and etc. she is a black belt in Karate. the people in the dojo have fear of fighting her.

Check this out, seems to be a good video:http://www.wle.com/products/vskf03.html
But of course you will need a qualified instructor, you cannot learn from a video. |

Nothing can replace a teacher. And that video that you have had recommended to you I own. You need to haul your TV into a large field because that monk runs half a football field to gain speed and momentum, then he handsprings, head-handsprings and then does a half-double with a twist!
![]() Drunken Boxing is more a wushu/acrobatic style nowadays. Find a Wushu teacher maybe. Where are you located? Maybe post looking for schools at kungfumagazine.com? Also, I did chinese kenpo karate for 8 years and it will train you well. No worries about switching to other styles later. I believe that Kenpo Karate borrows a lot from other chinese styles, etc. Peace, Couch |
