I remember downloading two old German videos on Wing Tsun. I've managed to find one of the two tonight: it's a brief 4meg clip of Kernspecht and a Bulgarian wrestler sparring outside on a patio.
The one I'm looking for is of some German special police officer (GSG?) that took down a guy with a kick, then followed it with chain punches.
Edit: Found a link to the Kernspecht clip.. look familiar, anyone?

Would you happen to know which one it is? Thanks.
I don't remember, but I found it there. It's a short one, anyway...

Well I found the SEK clip I was looking for here, and also stumbled upon another page with more clips in Real Media. Does anyone have those in mpg form? Or better yet, does anyone know what documentary all these clips are from?
Thanks for that masterlist of a URL, bartjam.

Have you seen that age? Master Leung Ting now a Master of Almightiness?
WHAT KIND OF IDIOTIC THING IS THAT!
I was told it's yet another trick from Mr. Kernspecht. As "Master of Almightiness", poor old Leung is a kind of precious wreck, so ALL the administrative power is in the hands of the greedy German. But I don't know if that's true. What is true, is that such a title is as ridiculous as preposterous.

Did you see the clip with the masked Wing Chunner?
He "defends" against the most ridiculously telegraphed attacks.......

Sily me. Perhaps he hasn't been taught the real secrets that Yip Man only taught to one person.
You know the guy. He's the one who got bumbled to the floor and fought like a monkey.
I agree Bartjam, Leung Ting's 11th grade is bullshit! And Kernspecht's grade is the 10th, this is ridiculous and offensive. A disciple cannot have the same grade as his master! Both Leung Ting and Kernspecht had the 10th grade for quite a while, and maybe Kernspecht ralized how foolish it was and gave this 11th grade to his sifu masking it as a respect gift or some other bullshit like that.
By the way, the highest level for a living master is the 10th, one reaches grade 11 and 12 only after passing away, and it's purely out of respect and honour.
Politics in martial arts do suck! We need a Michael Moore for MA too!
And here I am.
and there he is![]()
the only michael moore i like
i hate the other one

Why oh why would a student not be able to have the same grade as one of his teachers, if all grades are technical ( as opposed to honourary) and the teacher teaches the student everything he knows ( whiich he should if he is a real teacher)
If all grades are technical and we would stick to your line of thinking, who would give the second in line the higher grade?
Lets say Kernsprecht would be 9th and Leung Ting 10th, Ting dies, who would make Kernsprecht 10th?
If we are talking honourary grades than your line of thinking is outright wrong, if the disciple is doing much more for the art than the teacher then eventually he would be rewarded for that with a higher honourary grade no matter what the grade of the teacher
If students could never attain the level of the teacher, Martial Arts are doomed to die
