Fist Seminar in Georgia-April 2005

Francis Fong, Ajarn Chai, and Guru Dan. I've been to Ajarn Chai and Guru Dan seminars. Anybody know what to expect from Francis Fong?

FF is a very dynamic enthusiastic speedy little fighter from the Jiu Wan lineage. He doesn't do "pure" WC, he flavors it with what he has been exposed to...silat, jkd, bjj etc. Very worthwhile, will open your eyes beyond the traditional WC.

If you live in NYC and are into WC may I suggest Miguel Hernandez, Moy Yat lineage in Brooklyn. Straight forward excellent fundamentals and understanding of the art. The way WC was supposed to be taught.

Francis is like a flaming exotic french dish with all the trimmings, Miguel is a thick steak cooked to order with a baked potato on the side.

Thanks for the info........I've been hearing the name Francis Fong for years and you are the first person to know of his reputation. I won't make the trip to Georgia but I am going to try and catch one of his seminars at a future date. I've met Guru Dan and Ajarn Chai, I can't imagine what that seminar is going to be like. Sorry, I have to miss it. Sounds awesome.
