My Sifu has recently told me to start teaching some of my peers. As a small get-together. He says he wants me to learn how to teach. I'm requried to charge some money, like 5 bucks per week just so that I get committed students. (I get to keep the money, so its not a ploy for money btw) This is supposed to be a small group. The plan is that eventually, they'll be interested enough to join the actual school.
However, as I'm trying to get this small group started a problem arose. My si-dai (younger brother in WC) has been teaching his friends for a while. He did this without Sifu's permission. And also, we have the same circle of friends. So now I have a lot of trouble getting people to join. They say that they're just gonna learn from him. Of course, I'm going to have to speak with him. But what and how should I say to him? |

Perhaps you have not read my post correctly. I was told to keep the money. So it is utterly impossible that he wants to use me to make money, if I get to keep it. Plus, I am, learning for free. The very idea of that is pretty offensive, not that I took it personally.
And what would make you able to determine who is qualified or not when you haven't even been to my school? Sorry if this sounds like a rude come-back. In any case, the issue is resolved. There is no need for this thread to continue. |
