The closest thing you'll find on the web to my style is Dai Xing Yi. The best site for that is chinafrominside.com
My lineage is Ma (or Henan) Xing yi and the web is lacking in info on this style. It is a fairly rare style. For Xing Yi info in general I would check out
Emptyflower.

Are you stdying traditional Xing Yi, or cross training in several styles? Not that there is anything wrong with cross training, but Tai Chi, Ba Gua and Xing Yi are all complete system in and of themselves.
Not trying to knock your school, so don't take offense. Traditional Xing Yi is an awesome art, and if you can find a Shifu to teach you it is well worth the effort. Xing Yi is different than Ba Gua and Tai Chi in so many ways I would think it would be difficult to blend the systems.

the primary focus is on xing yi, with elements of tai chi (For instance, Chen style tai chi walking for improving the foundation), I think the ba gua is only for the more advanced students because it is a lethal art and quite difficult to learn.

the teacher regularly practices qigong (san ti) for up to 90 minutes at a time.

Xing Yi is probably the easiest to learn (the basics) of the three arts, but is very difficult to master. I studied Tai Chi for awhile before I found Xing Yi, but I have no experience with Ba Gua.
If your Shifu did not explain to you that Xing Yi is a lethal art, he/she should have. Xing Yi is extremely deadly, dangerous, and brutal. It is not an art for the faint of heart. I will now step down from atop my soapbox.
I hope you have as much fun learning Xing Yi as I'm having!!!

I also own a firearm. I know this is lethal even though I've never killed anyone with it. Same as knives, clubs, explosives, big rocks, speeding cars and earthquakes. I'm pretty sure those all have the potential to be lethal even though I've never killed anyone with any of them. These little known things called physics and medical science prove to me that my art is lethal. I guess those could just be a bunch of hooie and I should prolly listen to you.
The only thing I know not to be lethal is your rapier like wit. But keep practicing!!

Wow! Passive agressive! What? Mommy abandon you? Daddy didn't love you? Your doggie peed on your leg? Let me guess...you studied what someone called Ba Ji for years only to get you azz handed to you in your first fight so now you think all MA's are crap.

Just to answer you question that would none. Also known as zero and nada. Unfortunately that doesn't make you any less of an ignoramus.

Help! I have been stabbed by some of that rapier like wit again!

I think I'll go enter 2.200 hundred one sentence post so that people won't realize I'm a troll. What? Jubaji beat me to it! Dammit!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though. How is it that a troll like you has managed to not be banned from this site. I did a search and have yet to find one constructive post by you.

As much as I would like to come here every day and pretend I'm still in elementary school I'm going to leave all that to you. Normally I don't waste my time with trolls, but I made this one exception.

Did you know Jubaji translates to to fear/father/diseased? 懼爸癠 Pretty interesting considering you're passive agressive nature, huh? Self fulfilling prophecy, or just a coincidence?

Too much fun!!!

Yeah, that's what I thought.

But surely you've at least seen a bunch of people killed with this "deadly" art of yours? How many?

I do, but they are all chinese and they have been dead for hundreds of years. Not to mention tons of stories of past masters spending time in prison for killing opponents, etc...etc..etc... I'm sure I could track down a few names for you or......

Considering that you have access to the internet you might want to actually do five seconds of research before you show your azz. You sir are what Bugs Bunny would call a 'maroon'. (ie. a moron) Go ahead, I dare you. Go to google and actually check some facts. Go ahead! I triple dog dare ya! Or maybe not. They say ignorance is bliss. Personally I woldn't know.

This was too easy. I'm done. Good day sir. I said GOOD DAY!

So that was it? That was the best you had? You shot your load and that was all that came out? How sad. I wish you better luck in the future, and if you every wish to actually study martial arts let me know. It's a shame you waste your time and energy trying so hard to be an a-hole. I'm done here.
