I couldn't determine the exact style myself, dog, and I don't believe he was using correct stances at certain times (especially his forward progress).Even though he laid a couple of haymakers he kept more calm and less sloppy than homeslice(vato) did...you gotta admit that red shirt boy was welcoming a good roundhouse kick to his own midsection though.

IT may have looked like it...or he just hit that way(like a palm strike)because his swing was coming outward-in...maybe he ment it that way to land his target...I'm sure everything happened so fast to them. It's always eazy to analyze on film.

Could have been a palm strike but his hand looked like it was in a fist. Ya, pretty easy for us to analyze this after the fact though.

Vato is slang for thug/gangster/homie. It was actually a pun, because I've seen so many threads of "X beats Y" and knew when you guys saw this one you'd think, "Oh man, not another one of these." Watch the movie and be pleasently surprised. And ya, red shirt won. Everything clear now?

Default Kung-fu Guy

Kung fu guy looks like he practices some style of long fist kung fu with deep stances....choy lay fut or hung gar?

I think our homeboy didn't expect any kind of confidence, much less the red shirt to jump into a stance.

Kung fu kid wasn't just flailing his arms, he was using technique. The thing is that when you really apply your moves they don't look like Jet Li or Jacky Chan choreography.

To come to think of it that sounds about right...and yes,I'm sure even red shirt boy could've looked like an expert had he time to choreograph his moves... good point.

He dodged a few and landed his own, dropping the guy like a sack of bricks. I'd say that required great skill and technique.

yeah that vato really made that kung fu guy look stupid huh? I love how everyone makes fun of the guy who did what he had to and and went home in one piece. Perhaps you guys watched one to many black belt theater episode. Real fights are rarely pretty although they can occasionally be funny much like this forum.
