The Ultimate in Martial Arts

I have been thinking, what would be some effective, nowadays really working Kung-Fu combat system ? Do you have experiences about those ?

Xing yi, Ba gua, Ba ji, White crane, white eyebrow, Chinese Wrestling, Kun Tao (indo chinese system), praying mantis, Ziranmen .... all are extremely effective and tested combat systems .... even into the modern era.

Having trained Judo, Muay Thai, Ju Jutsu and now training Xing Yi in the main ... i would say xing yi is the most complete and powerful art i have found.

I have tested it in real life situations against resisting brawlers.

Authentic Chinese martial arts in the west are rare. Chinese style mcdojos are common place ... there is a huge difference.

Nice post Chris. Hsin yi is a good place to start. then look into Mongolian Wrestling.
