Default praying mantis style

Hi i am a practitioner of Tang Soo Do and i am thinking taking on another style. A new praying Mantis Class has just opened near me and i was intrigued to learn a little about the style from peoples opinions and not just propaganda on the net , can any one help me please?
p.s i am also interested in jujitsu too.

i dont know much about mantis, although there are southern/northern varieties. I'm sure there are plenty of little off-shoots of mantis, i am unaware of ALL of them. Its ancient stuff, but i'm sure the majority of it is legit stuff, CMA is great. There will be some fun hand positions (mantis claw) and probably eye gouging and tendon removal technique

Southern Preying Mantis involve's low kick's.

Lot's of grabbing and hitting.

For a choke:-(grab, w/low kick)

Slip hand's inside- no tension/light touch...like in prayer

Step back into maher/stance...that being a square, w/ heel's down in corner of squares facing forward.

Ginger fist's, pulling the arm's apart and advancing for the knee to groin/kick.
