TSD is both a hard and soft style, derriving hardness from Soo Bahk, and soft flowing movements from Northen Chinese systems.

edit:I cant belive i bought into this ^ lies, lies. TSD is shotokan with a Korean name and an emphasis on hip movement.

Dude, I bought several of his books. I like his attitude towards martial arts (prob because he's come to the same conclusions I have) Meant it as a compliment.

Now please explain: yin strikes?

OK, yang strikes, yin strikes. . . . what's the last third he's missing? Lemme check his books, I seemed to remember him talking about strikes coming in toward your body

Yes and no...The whole point was fighting mentallity of Taiji...those are the three acceptable entry concepts you can use...they are what is known as "Old man" or Dragon Prawn boxing.

Yeah,...Earle cheesed that When i do that demo, I step back, put my hands behind my back and say...HIT ME. Its sort of my trademark
