last night when i left the train station and headed to my car was when the fun begun. 2 middle eastern (I will call them lebs as it's usually those MF that do bad shit) guys were walking like 20m in front of me last night around 10:30pm where they walked up the road and took a right turn where my car is. At one point, they decided to split up and as soon as I saw that I knew that this is a planned attack(the old one man approach plus flank). I walked cautiously and put my car keys back in my pocket and then halted when the guy in front of me decided to turn around. I backed away knowing somthing was about to happen and as soon as he noticed that I was backing away, he hurried along and tried to stop me. I ran at that point but that was perhaps a mistake on my behalf as that did put my back towards them. I only managed to run a couple of meters until the guy got a grip of my bag (at this point I have forgotten to tell you that I was in formal business suit with the laptop bag so it will affect my mobility) I turned around and a fist was swung at my chin. this blow he threw was a powerful one for him but merely just moved my face like a centimeter. At this point I knew one thing, I have a better chance at beating this shithead on my own if his helper wasnt there but I needed to split them up by continually moving back.he attempted to rob me but I pushed him away which led to their second tactic..the knife. By now the bigger guy was behind the smaller one(the initial attacker) and the bigger one drew out a small knife. I looked at it and it looked very much like a toy knife(the blade looked plastic). The bigger guy passed the knife to the little guy and renewed his attack on me. I advanced at him with the passive stance, as I was in noway in the mood now to take their bullshit.the guy attempted to slash me but every time he tried I would kick at him.I nudged my chin up a couple of times to invite him to attack but by this time they had realised that I was not going to yield to their demand a left. After that I found as many people as I could to help me in my aid as I had realised that I got cut on the finger(not that deep but still pretty bloody) and to look out for these 2 guys. I managed to find a pub and a security guard around the block which I called the police and tended my wounds.

My reflections

When I thought about it, it is far better to charge at the attacker than to flee. Psychologically they are not use to it and intimidates them. Charging at them also allows you to strike first, instill fear and tells the attacker that your not going to take shit from them.Thieves/muggers cant fight but can run, though one must acknowledge numbers as well. maybe I will return on another night in proper gear and weaponary to teach these lebos a lesson they will never forget!

i could tell you guys a 1000 stories of events from my life, but as i usually do win and some would just sound fake, so i wont post them because you get people like this just saying your a lyer, and you get no real discussion,

But hey only Oraenor knows the truth. I would also say that you have faulty logic thinking it is always better to rush an attacker. You assume your skills are great and theattackers are not, just because what you "thought" was ply knife was pulledout doesn't mean it was and doesn't mean there were not other weapons. Your best bet was to run for the crowd you later found
