I'm good at the age, but physically I'm not sure. I'm very interested in this art but I am 20 pounds overweight. I'm still kinda flexible, not the very fat type, and I can run pretty good for my size and weight. So is Kenpo still an option for me?

Why not? The only thing stopping you is whether you want to do it or not.

yup, go for it. You will get in better shape through training.
Even athletic people have to work hard at first when it's not something they are used to doing. Good luck with your training.
