I have learnt with a few instructors, Nick Smart, Sean Rawcliffe but mainly a guy who used to work in a restaurant. Oh his dad was a student of Yip Man!

I have a lot of good things about Sean Rawcliffe but haven't really seen much of his stuff. Nick Smart... I know that name.... Where does he teach?
You found Mr Miyagi!!! I always like people who were trained in small, out of kwoon places. They are usually the people who know what they are doing!!! I have found a lot of hard guys in the corners of bars etc who turned out to be masters of martial arts They tend to be discrete!! |

Didn't train Long with Sean Rawcliffe, he knows good Kung Fu though. I trained with Nick Smart he is from the Leung Ting Lineage and had the Pro-am Wing Tsun Organisation he is a really good guy despite what others say. He now split form Leung ting to create AutoDefense, I don't know what thats about and I don't get involved in politics.
My Sifu from the restaurant had the fastest technique I have ever known, his kung fu was really tops and am proud to have learnt a lot from him. I met whilst working the doors in my local area. He was very friendly and down to earth. I never questioned his lineage because I trusted him and his Kung Fu. Then I found out his dad and his uncle was once a Yip Man Student!! Unbelieveable.

Ah yes, that's where I know him from - one of my students trained under Nick Smart
Yeah you often find that people don't have big classes or thousands of students but are fantastic martial art practitioners. Some people just want the humble life |

Yep Mr Miyagi. Despite all the BS in Martial Arts these days you just know good Kung Fu when you see it. I studied other martial arts (shaolin Fut Gar and Chow Gar Mantis) to a high degree (not master or Sifu though!!) and you can just tell a well trained sifu.
My Sifu is not well known, doesn't stand on a pedestal and cares not for money, his approach is that it is very personal to him. He taught me because of a good friend and that I bothered to learn about chinese culture and religion. I was quite honoured. My approach is traditional but very much practical with emphasis placed on it use in real actual fighting. This is the style I teach.......
