We could certainly use more experienced Chinese martial arts practitioners and medicinal practitioners in these parts.
As a member here, I am interested in qi gong and meditation as tools for improving my general health and aiding in my physical/mental recuperation from hard external training (running, calisthenics, boxing etc.).

I did not say that people here aren't experienced in Chinese martial arts. The number of Chinese MA practitioners seems fewer than the other arts. What is intriguing about the Chinese arts, that is different than the other arts, is its commitment to health and balance.
Would you care to share some basic qi gong excercises? Secondly, can these be learned on the net?

I can provide you with some useful information. My focus is primarily on the health aspects of the arts. Provide me with some background of your experience, some idea of exactly what you wish to know, and even where you are located, and I'll help. I may even be able to help you locate a good teacher in your area.
I have knowledge with the 8 brocade, swimming dragon qi gong, basic qi gong, acupressure and such. Plus I am also a Leukemia survivor and and see how my arts relate to that aspect of living. you can email me at scorpioet@neo.rr.com or get to me thru AllExperts Questions & Answers or via my site.
