Alan Orr's Wing Chun in MMA

Orr is able to drive his opponent back with some pretty quick chain punches, lands a clinch knee and secures what looks like a guillotine, he pulls the opponent off balance, throws a few strikes and finishes with a BJJ style armbar.

Props to Orr for using his wingchun stand up skills. Didn't seem to fancy, but it worked.

Aaron is a good martial artist and developing well, I have met him a few times Mr Hardman Dick, and I daresay if you would like to show him how bad his skills are he would be grateful for the lesson.

i think he should find a good MT instructor and train harder at that. that leg kick looked sloppy.

Alan Orr is one of the most progressive wing chun guys in the UK.
He uses catch wrestling as opposed to BJJ, but he has a good attitude and I loved the fact that he confronted the evil Benny Meng

I dunno. The thread hasn't been active for nearly a year.

Still, I absolutely hate these "MMA" events that don't allow punches to the head. That one single factor changes so many aspects of the game that it's hard to believe.
