no. i learned most my boxing and muay thai from a guy named Andy Fong in San Jose ca. he used to be a boxer for many years before learning muay thai so he emphasized proper punching technique quite a bit. i also learned a bit of savate style kickboxing from jerome turcan, whos fight against rob kaman i posted in the mma forum. i have gotten tips and training from a wide variety of instructors and professional fighters due to the atmosphere at the gym i train at. there is lots of opportunity to train with different high level martial artists.
