I couldn't help it. This was a cool fight to watch. Bare knuckle, outdoors on real earth. Screw it! This was a good fight!

That's some pretty fancy shit there Mr. B but I'm not positive it's really kung-fu.
Looks like a mix of capoiera(sp) and maybe some shaolin that's been modified. But who gives a fock it was still a pretty awesome exchange of ass kickin' ![]()

Our friendly awesome spin kicker in the red is Eshan Shafiq, a Shaolin Kung Fu champion renowned for challenging fighters from other arts. His opponent is a Tae Kwon Do black belt.

That's good gong-fu. He has fast feet, good timing and good aim.
He knows the other guys game plan... Wonder how he'd fare against an old grappler? Hmmmm...

That was a fun looking exchange. It's nit picking but Shaolin has become a generic term, Shaolin IE: Young/little forest temple boxing, it is not. Those kicks are from the Tan family techniques and they're from Shantung Temple's 108 short forms.

looking at that last kick, and the unconcious guy on the floor, I don't think that posed a particular problem

With ya on that one King. I was sort of thinking the same thing. But you know how it is in this day and age, with people being exposed to all sorts of techniques outside of their own school - so I fgured it was probably due to that type of thing. Still, yeah, an ass whippin is an ass whippin!
