Hey, Hello kingoftheforest.

I was wondering about those books. It looks like you are standing between heaven and hell, make a choice.

Some see the forest but not the trees and others see the trees but not the seeds and still few see the seeds but not the sower (or planter of the trees). Even fewer see the sower.

Nope, Tanto1, Garland, TomYum, KOTF, Knifethrower, Uke and I are all different people, so I guess its just the 7 of us, XF and one very busy little sports fan with a shitload of screenames.

Highly unlikely.

Jesus inhabited the Middle East and was probably darker haired, tan-colored man with little monetary means (remember he was given a donkey to ride and slept in humble bedding).

Indeed a humble looking man, but never forgotten.

Hey TTEscrima, I have no problem with that video tape I think he has skill. But what i am speaking about is more vicious combative and survival fighting. I remember how one of my instructors would attack a person that he got close to. It was a blurr of fierce attacks and the person was on the ground. You would get hit so many tmes in vital spots that you could barely even see it. he was also a very strong man and if he got his hands on you you were unable to escape. He was a leopard stylist also.

I think when some in here attack Kung Fu, it is because they have no idea what techniques are part of the arsenal. Or perhaps they have seen that pathetic video of a so called kung fu man being overcome easily by a Gracie Jujitsu fighter. Or the other pathetic kung fu fight where the kung fu man is easily overcome by a grappler and has his arm broken. These are not a representation of kung fu at all. I saw no kung fu from either of them, no stance (hardly) no form, no technique no hand positioning, no guard, no footwork, etc etc etc.

I think some try to judge how effective kung fu is by what they se on You tube. This is not a good representation of Kung Fu. The best kung fu masters will not even be seen by many. I remember seeing one time quite a while ago a video, (not on you tube) of an old man who was a master for many years and teaches in china, he looked thin and easy to overcome, if a person judged by outward appearance. Yet in combat he fought like ten tigers. He was apparently able to fight ten men at one time and overcome them according to the narrator. His technique was fast and agressive. He used many kicks and punchs as he kicked. He rushed in in a flurry of movements The way he moved and the speed at which he moved made it seem possible.

Most Westerners never even see such things. And some of the older masters have no desire to show them either unless they show their students.

One of my instructors could fight more than one man , on his back. I have seen his combat skill. I do not want to boast about him. I just make the point that so much is not seen.

That's hard to do without all the information, some people are too scared to think outside the box though. When all we have is old text (which some people are too scared to read) and the actions of the proponents of both sides to examine it isn't easy to figure out who's really the good guy. Read the posts of Arieson, he proclaims to be Christian, read the papers, Christians killing their own kids "because they're possessed" or raping someone else's kids for whatever twisted reason makes me wonder, it's like they say, actions speak louder than words. Far more death and horror has been done to man by those who did by so in some "Gods" service than of any other.

I've been around a long time, I've seen some great fighters, I've yet to meet anyone who could defeat multiple opponents from their back without a weapon. I know what good KF is, and I know what it's not, much of what you've posted is from the questionable category. Many of your claims are every bit as laughable as the MMA fans assertions of their superiority outside of the ring in spite of the dead professionals whose performance outside the ring shows otherwise. I've seen you boast about your Snake and Tiger Claw and I've asked you twice how you conditioned these tools and you've avoided the question. The fact that you've done so combined with your assertions makes you look like a creation of an MMA troll who is trying to find a way to divert attention from MMA's failure as anything but entertainment and a sport .

Of course, everyone knows that only out of shape theory-boys can survive 'da street' through the power of deadly, deadly techniques that they have never actually done. The fact that they never leave the basement and come out into the light of day makes any kind of training a moot point anyway.

And it was Wrestlers who knew how to slam a guy to the ground and pin him there, and who knew what it felt like to be slammed to the ground and pinned.
Finally we get the truth, your entire experience revolves around WATCHING schoolyard fights by unarmed children, thanks for your honesty.

Do you know anything about anything? Ashida Kim is a fraud from the Japanese arts, yes genius, Ninja's are from the Japanese martial arts, not the Chinese martial arts. You never stop showing your ignorance of the martial arts, no wonder you respect Jubarki's opinions on them.

One question, does the military teach its Special Forces soldiers high school wrestling or combatives? Exactly, they teach them combatives and... Kung Fu, not a single wrestling class to be found. Nor any no neck muscle heads, yuppie bankers or psyops deck jockeys, imagine that.

Uh huh, Bruce Lee was too fast for the cameras and they had to ask him to slow down so perhaps a Bruce Lee quip would have been more appropriate but then you thought the Bay of Pigs invasion made Cubans fans of the Republican party so why anyone would expect you to be able to keep up with any conversation is beyond me.
