Can we get a Street/self defence sub forum? - Page 2

Hey guys,
I know it's not exactly what you're asking for, but the tactical military and law enfocement forum here is geared largely toward the exact type of content you're mentioning. So far, we've done a lot of "war gaming" to exchange ideas about what works and what doesn't, but we've been missing some good input on the empty hand side of things. I can say, however, that it is a remarkably troll free zone, and I'd like to invite your input on anything street-oriented. Whether geared towards weapons or empty hand, reality is what we're after. You can find the board under Miscellaneous. Hope to see you there.

Except for the games, I've avoided posting on your forum for lack of mil/leo experience. The threads there have been fascinating to lurk on, though.

By far the most interesting things happening around here lately are in your section.

I think I'll go there and start a 'Dirty Harry vs Rambo vs. Bruce Lee' thread right now....

I think SamuraiGuy is right on the money, a street forum is needed, and it makes more sense also, separating sport from the street I think.

I thought about the tactical/military forum but didnt feel it fit there, besides.... I wouldnt wish a bunch of dumb "bjj sucks for streetfighting".. or... "why Tae Kwon doe is horrible for the street" threads into that troll free forum....

I also wouldnt want to suggest that and infringe on what the forum is about, while you mentioned you didnt have alot about open hand techniques, I'm sure these types of threads arent the ones you want in there.

its a nice place isnt it lol...

keep your tae kwon doe sucks to the korean forum!
your aikido to your japanese forum!
and all your "street" threads out of the BJJ/MMA forum!

Hrmm.. well I emailed time awhile ago and I didnt get a response.. maybe hes just busy, but oh well....

I am now just going to go into any thread that doesnt have to do with mma/bjj and just start frekaing out flaming people and typing they need to find a different place for it...

really taking the mature route here... ah well...
