Shut Down?

I'm totally new to forums, so I need some help understanding something. There was a thread called something like "punching power vs slapping power"; was it shut down? Is that why I can't find it? Pesonally, I found it more entertaining than TV

and more informative. There was a good post about the levels of Iron Palm. There was good dialogue about Master ?Pan?(I guess that's how you spell his name) and how not to screw up your hands. The dialogue about screwing up your hands didn't stop there; it was all throughout the thread. I use to do breaks when I was younger and learned this the hard way.

However, the thread got real ugly and maybe it was shut down for saftey's sake; if that is the case, shut that sucker down and keep it down. Or, how about keeping it up as "read only" (for posterity's sake) or would that just egg some dude on to do more stupid stuff?

so here's the questions:

Was it shut down?

Can it be put up as "read only"?

What are the rules for shutting a thread down? ( If there here I can't find them

)

PS This is the first forum I have ever posted in and I think that was my first thread...or maybe the second. I would just like to say "WOW!".

the thread is still there, it will soon be closed, this means that no one else will be able to post in the thread. It will still be able to be read.

Threads can also be deleted.

I usually warn people when they are getting out of line. But I do not think there are official rules posted anywhere.

It won't be coming back to due to threats of lawsuit and alleged death threats to parties involved. Most likely it was just a prank, however, for safety's sake, it will remain hidden.
