Thumbs up make shift weapons

I have read about people who can use various every day items such as walking stick , umbrella and pencil as a means to defend themselfs should they be attacked .

I only know of these items but im sure there must be many more out there and I am sure there must be a specific art in this subject would be glad of any info on this.

Maureen; The best makeshift weapon or one of the best is a big maglite flashlight ,The kind that cops carry. One whack and you break an arm.and be careful because one hit in the head can really injure someone .The cops accidently kill people all the time with these. At night you can hold it up over your shoulder and blind them with the light beam in a ready position to bap them if need be. You can also carry a big flashlight leaglly in most places so you can always have with you in the cars front seat or even walking with it in your hand! Or in your purse.Be creative.
They also sell fleshlights with built in electric zappers i don't know which company though.

having become familiar with the yubi bo/fingerstick...it may be something to consider if you need something that is easy to conceal and fits conveniently in a purse.....of course...getting familiar with best places on the body to strike...is also a necessity...but if your loving the maglite...hey...whatever blows your hair back!

Any steel case per also becomes a good weapon(use it like a kobutan,Look it up if you dont know what it is).As i mentioned in another post deodorant/perfume spray good to spray in the eyes.A lot of things ive found in my work are credit cards with a razor blades glued to them,Broken bottles, needles, scewdrivers.Walking sticks are usefull.Ask your insructor how you can improvise weapons and apply them to self defence.Im not saying i would use all of these but its good to be aware of them.
