My Shifu on Xingyiquan Basic

This first video clip shows my shifu (sifu), Zheng Mingxing, explaining the basic of Xingyiquan on the points and details of Santishi and Piquan. This was filmed during his second visit to Sabah, Malaysia on May 2007.

Shen Martial Arts - Store

I have almost nihil background in traditional martial arts, but I have seen people do tremendous breaking feats...I understand the idea of Wolffe's Law and bone remodeling...as well as the necessity of dealing with deep bruising from training...but what are these used for?

Are they okay to apply to broken skin?

I have no clue...
