Hello,
Check www.Sayoc.com for Sayoc Kali Instructors. Check www.Atienzakali.com for Atienza Kali classes. I hope this helps, Gumagalang Guro Steve L. |

One of the sites had a dojo by my house, but the dojo teaches only part of Kali, the other site showed me a lot of kali instructors in nyc, but didn't provide me with any means of contact.

Look up the Fight House at 27th street between 6th and 7th Ave in the phone book / 411. There you can train with Sayoc Kali instructor Jeff Chung and also the Atienza's have a kali class there as well.
If you want to find a kali class in Queens there's Progressive Martial Arts which has a JKD curriculum but have kali classes. You can also post at the sayoc.com and ask for NYC instructors to contact you via email. --Rafael-- |

progreesive martial arts is actually a 10 minute drve from my house, but I am kind of confused about their kali curriculum, it is combined with wing chun. I just want to concentrate strictly on kali.

One of my students teaches in Manhattan on Tuesday evenings, and another in Hoboken, NJ on Sunday mornings. You can visit our website http://kuntawkali.com for more information.
Atienza Kali, Sayoc Kali, and Kali JKD are great styles/systems. All FMA styles/systems have something unique to offer. Don't discount Progressive as an option, I'm sure that they teach their Kali class seperately from the other arts that they teach. Diversity of knowledge is never a bad thing. Good luck in your search.

the instructors at Progressive are apprentices instructors with the DogBrothers so they know their stuff. But I have no idea if the classes are taught seperately or with another art. http://www.dogbrothers.com/dbma.htm Nick "Raw Dog" Sacoulas: Senior Apprentice Teacher 4th year(NYC) Senior Lakan Guro Apat Progressive Martial Arts 18502 Horace Harding Expressway Flushing, NY 11365 phone# 718-461-0700 nick@progressivemartialarts.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know if this is near you, but this sounds like a credible teacher http://www.mayoacademy.com/mayo.htm Rank of 2nd Grade Blackbelt from Doce Pares, Cebu City, Philippines.
