Talking A question for you...

Greetings All~

Just a few quick questions for ya!

1.) What is the average age of students in a typical class?

2.) What is the average class size in a typical class?

3.) What is the usual gender breakdown (male to female) in a typical class?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Guro Dave!

Great to hear from you as well. Life has really been awesome. I quit my full time job with Fidelity Investments about 5 years ago, opened a full time Martial Arts / Personal Development Center and we are having a blast! Our goal is to open another 5 schools in the next 8 years.

I left the JKD world many moons ago to focus primarily on my study of Filipino Martial Arts, Grappling, and tactical training for LEOs, had the pleasure of training in Cebu City as well as fighting in 1998, 2000, and 2003.

All in all, life is good. What have you been up to? I surfed onto your site a few weeks ago and was thrilled to see that you are doing justice to propogating LAMECO Eskrima. I look forward to speaking with you again, and hopefully sharing a training floor with you again in the future!

With respect,

Jason M. Silverman

1.) What is the average age of students in a typical class?

I have both children and adult classes.
The typical adult age range is between mid twenty - 45 years of age.
Children between 5 & 11

2.) What is the average class size in a typical class?

Varies as to the type of program, school you have.
They range from 10 in a class mainly for teachers not wanting a school but renting a small space through over 100 in a school.

3.) What is the usual gender breakdown (male to female) in a typical class?

I have three to one (men), but the women are starting to catch up.

Hope this helps.
