Default Lua video series

Can anybody tell me if they ever had a chance to see an old video series bu Kazja Pastchul which covered the Hawaiin art of bone breaking called Kapu lua. It had a trapping and self-defense series. I was wondering if these videos were still available.

I have the series, and have had the opportunity to train with Kazja, They are good, but no longer available, look for a few traditional lua techniques, a lot of FMA influence, and some basic grappling. Pretty good videos, but a lot of people would have a hard time with his teaching style, and personality (Kind of anarchy surfer). A lot of the old Lua guys are not too fond of him, because he perpetuates a lot of what native hawaiians consider sacred but in an "inpure" format to outsiders. but any more he mostly promotes MMA shows, he was one of the first guys to promote mma tourneys in the 80's.

Default Kazja

No I sure didn't post it there yet. Would you be interested in any way shape or form in selling those videos or selling copies? I would love to purchase these from you. Is there a website for kazja.

Id have to think about selling the videos, Kazja has a website, for his mma tournament called kage combat, but he really doesn't promote his gym i think he doesn;t teach at all. However, his school used to be called san pedro hawaiian fighting arts, and a google search might turn up his students who teach. If you want to learn Lua, there are no videos per say as this is a sacred system in it's true form. Having trained in the original Halau's in Hawaii, it would not be permitted, though I have a few tapes of Hawaiian Lua groups doing some ceremonial protocol and I also have some seminar stuff from Olohe Kaihewalu.

There is an overview video available through budo international from Olohe Kaihewalu. Good luck.

where are you located? maybe I can put you in touch with an actual instructor. I hate to say this but to learn True Lua from the old guys in Hawaii, you would have to be Hawaiian. But Olohe Kaihewalu will teach outsiders (much to the dismay of some of the others)
