I decided to learn Muay Thai since I can't get to my Wing Chun classes and I heard MT and Arnis blend together well so I'm thinking of taking both
So does anyone know of any good schools in philadelphia they can recommend and possibly have experience with? |

You can also visit Mataw Guro Lou Lledo. He teaches in Belmawr, NJ which is not too far from Philadelphia. It is definitely worth the trip.
Mataw Guro Lou was one of the instructors for the NBI, law enforcement agency (Philippines FBI counterpart). He was promoted by GM Remy Presas in the Philippines to Lakan Lima (5th Degree) in 1973. He taught a program that was accepted in 16 Universities in the P.I. He grew up in Zamboanga, (Mindanao) where he trained in the art of Kuntawan Silat. His system is called Amara Arkanis http://www.amara-arkanis.com/ -Rich Acosta

There is a small group forming in the Philly area called The Pennsylvania Pitbulls. They practice Pekiti Tirsia Kali. They just got their charter a few months ago from Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje. They are a good bunch of people with great hearts and intentions. They were here in Maryland for a seminar by Tuhon Leo Gaje and they are a dedicated group. I think if you type in
www.MySpace.com/paptk you will be able to get in touch with them. By the way our group is The Maryland Mabagsik Bulls. We represent Tuhon Leo Gaje here in Maryland as the only authorized Pekiti Tirsia Kali group. You can reach us or just check out the site at www.MySpace.com/mabagsikPTK. Good luck my friend, i hope you find a great place for you to train and feel at home, Mabagsik Boss |
