Sifu Bud Thompson would benefit anyone desireing to further there knowledge on either Jun Fan or Filipino Warrior Arts. He first met both Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto during the "Green Hornet" days. After training Guro Dan and Bruce would go to the health store that Bud ran and would frequent his establishment alot.

Bud never trained directly with Bruce but had many audiences with him. Bud began to train with Guro Dan very early on in the late 60`s. As a matter of fact every Instructor that Dan trained under in those early days Bud trained with as well. From the likes of; Angel Cabales, Ben Largusa, Floro Vilabrille, Leo Giron, John Lacoste, "Lucky" Lucay-Lucay, Max Sarmiento, Sam Tendencia, Jack Santos, Gilbert Tenio, Leo Gaje, Dionesio Canete, "Cacoy" Canete, Eddie Jafri, Master Chai, Herman Suwanda, Edgar Sulite, etc...

Although I have never trained under him I have known him since the Normandy academy days. And anyone would benefit from his vast knowledge of Guro Dans direct lineage. Good luck in your training...

Guro Dave Gould.

I stopped by the school and think I will join there, Sifu is 76 years and still is sharp as a tack and tough as nails.

So, after asking about this school since at least 2004, you finally stopped by?

JKD Fighter...

Yeah I finally stopped by, I had some personal issues and I couldnt train for a while. But I am good to go now. I was asking because I think it would be helpful to find someone who also trained there since I was also looking into a muay thai school and a BJJ school as well.
