![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Our thinking for our Kali Tudo subsystem can be found at KALI TUDO (tm) Article The article is rather long, but perhaps you may find it worth your time. Since then, my development of KT has occupied a goodly amount of my thinking because I am very excited by what I am discovering and my results in friendly (I'm 56 so there's a limit to how hard I want to bang) but active sparring. As I just posted in its own thread nearby, our next Kali Tudo DVD is "The Running Dog Game" which is our particular interpretation of Kali Silat against the guard YouTube - KT2 Trailer Final2 Coming later this year will be "Blending The Arfful Dodger and The Dracula". Then it will be time for our Clinch DVD-- for which I have yet to come up with a name LOL. The Adventure continues! Guro Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny |

I'm sure you'll be pleased to note that I've been studying these arts since the early 70's with several trips to the Philippines to study with the masters and grand masters from Doce Pares, the home of eskrima, and the origin of Kali everywhere. Check us out at A Kali, Arnis, Pencak Silat, Site for Self Defense, Seminars, Videos, Newsletters of these Indonesia / Malaysia / Philippine Martial Arts, thank you and warm regards, Greg Alland

| Registered User | It's amazing how many DVDs everyone has out there, we started ours back in 1986 and put the complete Pekiti Tirsia System, (now SinaTirsiaWali) on video back then and included the footwork drills, weapon drills, empty hand conversions, and most everything we could in the DVDs, with complete explanation so you can grow with the system, after all that's what Kali Silat is all about. Take a look at what's new at our website, regards, to everyone, I'll be in Florida permanently thanks, Greg

The great grandmaster Jerson 'Nene' Tortal, the unseen rare SinaTirsiaWali of Palit-Palit witnessed by Master Preses and Grand Master Taboata, "Never seen anything like it", was their comment. And of course the ORIGINAL 64 ATTACK SYSTEM of PEKITI TIRSIA, This rare material is not taught anywhere else, according to our sources. Thanks, watch eBay of specials too. You can still have it all. ![]() | Not to slaughter dead horses or anything, but I think just about any tape by the Dog Brothers with regard to FMA is going to be worth your time and money. The instruction is clear, articulate, offers depth, and remains appropriate for beginners. Dog Brothers DVDs are of the same quality with regard to instruction as World of Martial arts (World Martial Arts: MMA DVDs & Mixed Martial Arts Products). Those guys have produced some of the best grappling instructional material on planet Earth (Mario Sperry, Marcello Garcia, Saulo Riberio) and I think the quality is matched by the folks at DBMAs. If you can find Paul Vunak's Pananjakman video anywhere, I'd also recommend that. I also think that you couldn't go wrong with Dan Inosanto's 9 DVD series which covers a great deal of FMA. Guro Inosanto's stuff is very nice, very smooth. "Don't be fooled by the simple stick." Guro Dan Inosanto |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I love every DBMA video I've ever seen. I managed to find a really good clearance deal and I bought, like, 2 copies of Gathering of the Pack on VHS, and gave my buddy one as a X-mas present. Speaking of DVDs, Ron Balicki put out a bunch of good ones also. I'm actually taking notes off of his Jun Fan and Panatukan series(es)? right now, and I absolutely loved his Sarong video too. I'm bitter about losing bidding wars for MasterKaliSilat's stuff on ebay...but I'm sure I'll win one of these days at a price I can afford. (rather go for the whole shebang (14 vids?) than piece-meal it out) |
