hello all
ok I am broke a painter but looking for work willing to trade my skills for training or if your looking for a motivated and quick learning student or are looking for a training partner in the area let me know so far I have found plenty of people in portland but they need $$$ I can feed myself and get around but thats as far as my schedule works out I have friends that will train me but not unless I travle to out of state intrested in the FMA and silat love working with weapons just completed a scottish highland broadsword system ( there wasnt that much material really basic only 10 drills) and competed in the tourniment did ok I think but looking for more with swords and sticks knives are alot of fun as well if you know of an instructor that your training under see if they are willing to exchange training (not into certifications) for my hard work I would be totaly willing well online with yahoo instant messenger but use email way too much thanks |

It took me 4 tires, some nuts and bolts(washers too), my SOG folding blade, a drill and a hacksaw to trim and cut in order to form what you may notice in the video link below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34LITCxFHCc Prior to that model, This is all I had to work with and it still works just fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-m3cWLj-Ew Used tires.... get some of those. There are many ways to construct your own tire target. They serve their purpose very very well. Power, speed, timing, and flow are some of the attributes that can develop to great heights through power hitting on devices such as these. Can you dig it?

yeah I have made a few of them
trees and leaves on the branches blackberry bushes I beat the crap out of everything a walk through the forest equates to me getting more sticks sticks knives swords I practice and work on this everyday atleast once a day if not several times however there is only so far I can go alone looking for a teacher /training partner to work with and be a sounding board for more ideas ![]() |
