Study of the Filipino martial arts is only the beginning, although proven in WW2 the marines found out all too early that these Philippine Warriors knew how. So now is your chance to learn from the Filipinos in the Philippines. There's no better way to experience these arts than in the country of origin. Many well known instructors in many different countries I'm sure have their own way of teaching what they learned, so you get in second hand, and you know what that means.
So if you really want to carry a weapon, you want to attend this program in Manila and in Cebu, training with well-known Filipino masters is the country of origin. There is no better experience that you can have, ask anyone that grew up in any of what we call martial arts and martial artists I call martial hobby and martial hobbyists, until you make it your own your just playing follow the leader. This is a rare opportunity to train for 12 days in the Philippines. With over 32 years in Kali Silat, I guarantee you'll have an experience like no other. Start now and make this important decision. Your future in Kali Silat is bound by it, once you have the experience you'll know why you carry a weapon and why it makes sense to train in the way of the true Philippine practices. We leave October 9th to the 23rd, train in Manila, in Cebu or both, it's up to you, become a leader in these arts and sciences or get left behind wondering why after so many years of training you still don't have it. And I've come across so many individuals just like that. |

Please accept my apologies for systems and people who advertise this way. they may have their reasons which i cant fathom. It is with deep regret that some real and tested masters i the art of Filipino fighting has been mislead into folding through such strategies by the need of monetary gains. Please do bear in mind that the Philippines is a third world nation, but calling this respected teachers degenerate is a total insult to the whole Filipino Martial Arts world. So please do refrain from such terminologies. I am calling those who are really into the arts to please also refrain from folding into such traps even if you do need the money. I know this plea will fall on ears who will accept and not. My intentions are clear and..quality training for quality people.
Thank you and more power to all.

I'd like to know how many here have dealt with the angry drunk at the bar or the ballgame, or the irate neighbor, or a-hole in traffic by shooting or stabbing them?
Just wondering

co-ordination, reaction time, timing and strength not to mention the training of weapons techniques passing over into empty hands. It’s not as if Filipino empty hand is any good for street defence what with the destructions and the locking and the dumog! God because if that was the case then that would absolutely prove 'jubajis' post to be irrelevant! |

What I quite obviously said was: "That’s a great idea! I know lets point out how the use of knives in a fight is rare because you as the good guy don’t want to kill your assailant and rule out the use of the Filipino martial arts altogether!" How about next time you don’t take out the point of my post in an attempt to make my sarcasm look stupid and actually try and formulate an argument instead of using edited quotes. From what I can see it looks like all post #9 was trying to say was that no one uses knives to defend themselves or it is a bad idea to do so, this was not a reply to any question or rebut any argument made, looks like it was just a pathetic and to troll the FMA, and didn't warrant a serious reply. |
