Default Pananandata

Greetings,

Looking into a few Kali schools in the area (Long Island, NY) and came across this one that specialized in Pananandata. Anyone have any experience w/this?

From the site: http://www.csgfit.com/Default.aspx

Pananandata Marinas encompasses the full range of traditional Philippine weapons as well as some more exotic variations. These include single and double stick, stick and knife, balisong (butterfly knife), short staff, tabok-toyuk (rice flail), hawakan (side handle), latigo (horse whip), bagakay (wooden spikes), dikin (rings), palo palo (laundry paddles), tungkod(walking cane), and knife among others. In addition, many combinations of the previously mentioned weapons are practiced.

Welcome any thoughts and what I should look for before choosing the school.

Thanks in advance.

I met Guro Spencer Gee at Punong Guro Mat Marinas Sr.'s seminar. He is one of PG Marinas' most senior instructors.

Try contacting Guro Rob Mulligan as well http://www.kwikstik.com/ . He is a very knowledgable instructor, humble and passionate about the art he teaches. He has a group in Suffolk County.

I would highly recommend training in Pananandata. It is one of the best FMA styles that I have come across here in the U.S.
