I live in the Houston area, and I'm considering trying to learn the Kali style. Unfortunately, I've had two surgeries on my knee, and would like to consult a doctor about how safe this style is, given my injury. Can anyone recommend any doctors in Houston who know Kali enough to make educated recommendations about whether or not it will be safe for me?
Thanks in advance for any assistance in this. Aaryn Pickell Houston, TX |

I don't know of any doctors in Houston but I know a guy in Maryland who's a medical doctor and a Kali instructor...if you post more details about your injuries and the surgery you had done, I could pass this on to him and ask him what he thinks.
