you guys heard of Matt furey? I found him doing a search for Combat Throwing..looking for the author of a book with the same name. I like what this guy talks about, and it says he has videos..anyone ever see one of his videos..

if your answer is no to all of this, maybe visit his site. he has some interesting things to say..http://www.combatwrestling.com/

I've not seen any of his videos but I've read some articles by and about him. A friend of mine has been to a seminar with him and says the guy is phenomenal. The articles I've read by him are very good. He's currently living in Florida training with world-reknowned Karl Gotch.

right on. I saw a review on lewis's website of one of his tapes, but it wasn't on an instructional tape.. and i'm curious how his check out.. anyone know of any reviews of these tapes?

I believe that one of Matt's vids was reviewed in a recent issue of Journal of Asian Martial Arts.

hm. did the search and went to govia publishing.. the listing they have for that review is on one of his combat conditioning tapes.. mostly things like bridging and hindu squats and frog jumps and such.

i was thinking more down the line of one of his technique vids..

Ahh ... how true. I only remembered that they had reviewed something but couldn't remember what it was.

Oh well :-)

I would guess, based on what I've read and heard, that the tapes are worth buying.
