This question is based totally on my own ignorance and lack of experience in Silat. With that said, is their much difference in application between a silat man and shoot wrestler on the ground? Are their any differences in strategy or structure? Is there a certain "theme" or general concept (I know their are hundreds of styles, but I'm having a hard time phrasing this) that underlies silat ground fighting/grappling? How are the games different?
