Default bone cyst...OUCH!

my orthopedic surgeon has just informed me that I have a bone cyst in one of the small six bones in the wrist.....he told me to keep it wrapped with an ACE bandage ...and to take it easy.....but you all know how it goes with wrist locks......has anyone here ever contended with this problem? If so, did u manage to heal while "taking it easy" when training or was it better to take a hiatus from training?.......(hoping to hear that there is hope in the former alternative rather than the latter....)
