Default Kettlebell training for youngsters?

I recently purchased some kettlebells and have found them to be amongst the best off my investments for awhile. I have a cuzn who is 15 years old and one whois 13. They both visit me reguly and saw my kettlebells last week and said they were 'awesome'. Indeed they are. and both of them want to use them because they wannna be the strongest kids in school or somethin. Should I let them use the kettlbells ofr is it too dangerous for ppl this young to be training with weights or at least this kind of weights?

honestly i dont see anything wrong with them using it. obviously there bright enough to know their limits. just advice them to do the simple techniques - ie use it as a dumbel for biceps, etc. dont let them lift it above there heads and obviously make sure there not llike 50kg(lb) ones aswell.

best advice would be to give them a few phone books (esp to the 13 year old no way is his body ready for it) and tell them to do push ups with the phone book/s on their backs.

and tell them to enjoy life a bit more. mass media sets a bad example:P

I'm more cautious. Everyone matures at different rates. Maybe they are ok, maybe not. I reckon you should set them some calisthenics goals, hard ones. When they can do those, let them gently start on the kettlebells.
