After intensified Submissions Grappling training and working with the heavy bag, my wrists, albows and ankles could really use some help...
Glucosamine was recommended, and I thought I'd see if anyone here was taking it and if it works. Also, how long does it take before the desired effect (less aching, creaking and popping) occurs? Thanks!!

Glucosamine helps lubricate and the possible improvement of healthy joints, but it does me no good after workout to relieve muscle and joint pains, bruises, etc if that is what your experiencing. What I use contains Methyl Salicylate and Menthol. You can buy Thai Liniment from Fairtex or an inexpensive alternative is Salonpas which you can purchase from any filipino store if one exist in your are. You can buy a pack of 20 sheets for 1.50.
For healthy joints I use: Glucosamine Sulfate - 1200 mg Chonroitin Sulfate - 1200 mg MSM - 500 mg The Total EFA which contains Flax Seed Oil For Joint and Muscle Pains I use: Salonpas Thai Liniment Hope this helps |
