True, I used to take it too when I boxed and it really worked, I took like 12 pounds in two weeks. It is healthier than other similar products and it's good you drink a lot of water, just to help your liver dilute it. I chose to stay away from everything that is not natural food, so the only option is to eat more! But creatine does the job well.

At the end of the school year, were having a creatine team, vs non creatine team competition at my school.... 4 kids on each team... im on non creatine .. because I think anything other then food is cheating personally... Non Creatine will own though, were definetly tons beter, were doing it by how much of your body weight % you can lift... kids on creatine are like "Im gonna try to get up to 150 (bodyweight)"... im like yeah im gonna try to lose ten pounds to 150, and bench 360 lol.... they have no chance.. maybe Ill make a thread with results when it happens..

It's all water weight, unfortunately. Just eat a lot of protein and work out often, and your own levels will be high enough.

it is all water weight, but it comes with a benefit. my body can perform more than it could before, i can lift more weight, and my muscles can recover faster than normal. this increase in intensity in my workouts will eventually lead me to make more gains whein im taking creatine than i could without it. when i stop taking in the creatine, and the water weight goes away, my body will still reap the benefits of the intense workouts i performed while taking creatine.

That's why you fastly lose all the weight you gained once you stop taking creatine.

Man...I'm going the other way-Crack-head buff.
I want the skinny, ripped deal. (5'7'' and 140lbs) I'm 145 now.
Perfect for Muay Thai...not so great for MMA...
but, hey...what the hell...If I can maintain my strength, I think I'll do okay..., right?

thats actually not true. u dont lose all of it, just a little. since u are working out harder than before ur muscles gain in mass in addition to water. when the water leaves, u still have the mass u gained from working out harder than normal. thats the whole point. the water retention that creatine promotes in the muscles is great for the muscle and allows it to perform better and longer becayse it constantly nourishes the muscles.

gaining mass isnt the only thing it does. it has many benefits. check out this link

Gah all those people on that website only want to look "big" even though most of them are giant pussies who like to use their machines on set paths for the most muscle growth, to look big, **** creatine and protein and whatnot, just lift your ass off and eat like crazy... supplements are the devil

And forever when you reach a goal. When you run 1 mile more than you thought you could, or you lift 50lbs more than you could last week. Everytime you impress yourself, all you'll think is. Thank God for creatine...I wonder if I could do this on my own.
I'd rather keep impressing myself through hard-work, that way I know I earned it and noone can take that away.

well u could look at it that way, but the way i see it, is that it allows me to do more of soemthing i love....which is training hard in muay thai and boxing, and working out which = learning more and developing more skill. i just decided to experiment with creatine cause a friend gave me a big container of it cause he had no use for it. i too thought creatine was cheating, but u know its really not like that. all u are really doing is allowing your muscles to be replentished faster which allows for better performance. taking creatine is the equivilant of taking a vitamin supplement. do u guys look down on taking vitamin supplements too?

Emptyness, you just got pwned.

Nothing beats b@lls to the wall hard work and desire. It can get set back, but in the end its undeniable.
