Exclamation Nasty habit!!Knuckle cracking

I have a nasty habit of always cracking my knuckles when I feel like. Is it dangerous? Should I try to stop it?

the only problem I've heard about with cracking your knuckles is that it causes your knuckles to grow larger. it will NOT cause arthritis, so far as I've seen anyway.

Somebody told me that it wore down the synovial joints in some manner, like erosion. This accounts for why people draw comparison to repititive motions and artritis....
But, hey, I ain't no docta, so, whateva....

If you have to ask yourself and others if you should stop, then you probably should. Like nail-biting, or constant washing of the hands, this could be a sign of OCD.

lol, I think part of the point of OCD is that you can't stop. but hey biting your nails works well if you dun have constant access to clippers, and yeah, I think most people wash their hands too much anyway.
