Oreomeister365 is on a distinguished road
Default Toning

Hi, i've been building up mass for a good while, and its at the point where my abs are making me look fat, when they are really just...pretty big..I guess, there is a thin layer of fat over my abs...which is what makes people think Im a little overweight.

But, the general question is: what are the best exercises to tone ones body? and should I do them daily, 3 days a week? etc.

Well, considering your name is Oreomeister, it makes sense!

Just kidding.

If you're trying to burn away fat, you should do medium intensity cardio vascular excercise for atleast 30 minutes 3-4 times per week. This can include a swim, stationary bicycle, running, jump rope, tennis, or whatever makes you happy as long as it is cardiovascular and keeps your body moving.

On top of that, try to break down your diet and apply the wonderful 20/80 rule. This means finding the 20% of your diet that contributes 80% of your caloric intake...it may or maynot be one food item, it could be an eating habit, but food items should be counted too.

Hell, I like beer too Oreomeister but we all know that you're going to have a little tub if you drink it on a hot summer day.
