There arte losts of sources on the net, so here is the best advice I can give persistance!!! You need to hit the gym and maintain a clean diet no more soda juice, gator aide etc (orange juice maybe on occasion) >90% of teh fluid intake should be water. Eliminate all sauces, creams and sugary carbohydrates.

There is no magic bullet, you don't need to try "the diet of eh day" just like MA all success is attrbuted to hard work and persisitance. Now I am assuming you are an average person with no heath concerns beyond your BMI, if not definatelt discuss with a nutrtinist and your primary

Don't brain **** yourself with poor self esteem. Remember the only thing that can beat you is you!!! So don't let that happen and you will be fine.

Good luck and let us know your progress

Default Been there

First, find an exercise routine that you enjoy! If you're having fun while training you're more likely to stick with it. However, nothing beats strength training three times per week to kick your metabolism into high gear. No matter what ...do something every day (20 to 30 minutes) to make it a habbit rather than a chore.

Second ...don't buy into the "diet fad hype"! Eat small meals every few hours. Example:

2 hard boiled eggs and a banana at 7am
A peanut butter sandwich and a apple at 10am
A chicken breast, rice, and green veges at 1pm
A pack of tuna and veges at 4pm
A piece of fish, rice, and green veges 7pm
A peanut butter sandwich and a small piece of dark chocolate as a late snack

Third ...be sure to clear anything like this with your doctor before starting ...and... be sure to find a qualified strength coach before attempting any strength training routine.

Good luck...train hard

Here is a workout program and a diet program. If you are serious about weight loss and perhaps putting on muscle mass follow them. The results will speak for themselves. This will be a great lifestyle change.

First I think you should document how many calories you are actually taking in every day. You will have to diet and this is the way to start. See where your sources of fat and calories are coming from and total this all up.

If you lessen your total caloric intake by 500 calories per day, you will lose 1lb of weight per week. Doesnt seem like a lot, but thats 52 lbs per year just by cutting back on calories. Men should not live off a diet of less than 1500 calories per day, many cant even come close to that little without feeling sick. So at first dont go overboard, just consume 500 calories less per day.

If you add in exercise of any kind, you will lose weight even faster while building muscle. If this is what you're looking for, try to make as many of your calories come from protein as possible. 1 gram of protein is 4 calories. The more muscle you have the faster your metabolism will get. A diet is not something you go on for a week. A diet is something you are on for life. Just make sure its a healthy diet.

So yeah, basically; diet and exercise.
