...bad if you miss training? ive been going 5 days a week this summer...and i already missed a week while at the cottage...now today i promised i'd get together with a friend...but i feel like crap because im going to be missing out. do you ever feel that way?

I know just how you feel. I havent been able to get to training for a good 2 monthes for various reasons, including rotator cuff tendinitis and injury prone knees and I still feel guilty not going today because my right shoulder and my knee are a little sore from a soccer tournament this past weekend. I think everyone feels guilty, but the thing is you shouldnt, if your doing it for fun you shouldnt stress if you miss a training session because its really your choice, and sometimes other constraints make it hard to train, but if you look at the big picture, its probably more beneficial to study for that big test or let those injuries heal then to struggle through one or two sessions. Dont worry about it, and good luck in your future training!
