Talking How Should A Warrior Train And What Should He Eat ?

I was wondering how does a warrior train , I mean like solo training and using your own body weight to increase strength , power and speed , and what should he eat so he can get maximum results , ( forget about counting calories here ) , any suggestions would be great

It's a really complicated question. Run, bike, swim, work out. Muscle burns more calories than fat does just sitting around. Make sure your workouts involve some form of strength training, some form of cardio, and stretching. Check out crossfit.com for some excercises without weight machines. Check out the Zone diet for improved performance--40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. Or do 40/40/20. Eat six meals a day, healthy fresh foods with tons of enzymes, take a multivitamin.

My personal opinion as an herbalist who's helped a lot of warrior guys with frazzled nervous systems because of stress, often from front-line jobs, is that treating the nervous system as a preventative is very important. Avoid or limit chocolate and caffeine and alcohol, make sure you're getting calcium and B-vitamins, supplement with spirulina and/or nutritional yeast and/or bee pollen and/or some kind of adaptogen, make sure to get your r+r, time in nature, massage or acupuncture or at least stretch a LOT, go on hikes, drink nervine teas, etc.

Eat lots of vegetables, fruits, good carbohydrates (rice, sweet potatoes, wheat bread) and lean protein (chicken, fish). Stay hydrated with water and gatorade.

Don't drink Gatorade though, that stuff is just a sugar drink in disguise. Take a glass of water, throw in ten spoonfuls of sugar, and you have unflavored Gatorade.
