I do "hard" labour (construction) and am very exhausted after work, to the point of not being able to go to the gym or do any other activities. I feel like sleeping all the time and my body feels like I have been beaten on a daily basis, I am not an old guy (27 years old) yet I feel like I am rotting away, this job is killing me but quitting is not an option so...
What I would like to know is what kind of shakes would you guys suggest I drink that are going to help me feel better (wake me up a bit) and help my body heal after hard days of work? Is protein what I need? I am sorry but I am a dumbass when it comes to these things so any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try this one... 1 cup yogurt, 2/3 cup orange juice, 1/4 protein powder, a bit of honey or maple syrup, and maybe a teaspoon or two of oil if you are using lowfat yogurt.
Make sure you're eating enough, getting tons of water, and getting a lot of rest... What's your diet like now? |

Make sure you take some multi-vitamins and some sort of protein supplement. Try to eat 6 meals a day.....if your working long days like that, you might have to just take some bars or sandwiches to work with you (tuna, chicken...). And get plenty of water, 8 glasses a day....around that.
Hope that helps man!
