Anyone would do that considering you basically post about the same damn thing almost everytime (which is Wing Chun is gods gift to humans). Your ignorant and you don't accept others opinions, if you want to ramble about "internal strength" and bullshit that has nothing to do with the topic, go post elsewhere.

I hate this, people who dont like this shouldnt be here! If you didnt like cooking, would you be in a cooking forum yelling about it?
This is for people who have valid questions and answers and offer thier opinions to help others. Sometimes we dont aggree but on this site theres barely any bashing. Phil stop babbling about inner strength because this is a weightlifting section! Anyways, if youre really that tough, you wouldnt need to make challenges over a website. Id say youre a 11 year old kid who say some bruce lee movies and thinks fighting comes from ki. |

Hey Phil, Bruce Lee did NOT have that shape naturally, he built it up - through weight training. There is a book devoted to the exercises he used back in the 60s and 70s, called "The Art of Expressing the Human Body" (it is written by Bruce Lee fanatics who make out as if Bruce Lee was the greatest man to ever exist so don't waste your time with it).
As for "internal strength," Phil if you are so good, give a call to the U.S. National Gymnastics Team, and proceed to show them how, without any upper-body muscle, you can maintain static holds that require extreme strength, like full straight-leg planches, Iron Crosses, maltese, handstands on rings, etc...these require extreme muscular strength, but you could really set some records if you can prove you can do them without physical strength. You could also maybe win an Olympic Gold medal too. Give them a call and see what they say Or just admit you are posting nonsense.

Somehow I have a feeling this Phil Elnore guy is just "some guy" playing with us, I mean the stuff he is saying just really makes no sense. It is common knowledge amongst the guys who knew Bruce Lee even that he was a workout fanatic who built up his physique. It is also somewhat of a fad for people to make fun of internal stylists in martial arts, because internal stylists are always claiming how they can reach their hand through your abdomen and yank out an organ or something (for real!); not all do, but a lot do.
I think this guy just wants to see what responses he can elicit.
